Maui 2012

As James and I are turning 40 this year and after a tremendously long winter last winter, we promised ourselves to splurge on a trip to Hawaii. Despite this winter being positively mild compared to last winter we were still excited to have some heat from the sun, swim in an ocean warmer than the Canmore pool and walk around with bare feet.

 Our apartment was on the ground floor so Heather and Finlay enjoyed free time playing in the morning and evening. The first two evenings the sprinklers came on during our bar-b-q time and this is what James had to run through to bring us the meat. After the first two nights we altered our timing!!!

 Awake at 6 am, Mum gone for her morning jog along the beach, breakfast, sun screen and then heading to the beach by 08.15.
