The Nordic centre has been closed for skiing and is now in good shape for mountain biking and is well used by locals, James and I have actually never biked up there, which seems amazing considering the amount of mountain biking that we used to do before children...B.C...We have managed to get out a few times this year and have often used a sitter every second Thursday to go for a ride, or a walk, or a saunter to the local bar!!! We do intend to use the time more for biking.
The Nordic Centre partner with the RCMP once a year to hold a bike rodeo for younger kids, where they learn about signalling, looking out for traffic and wearing helmets. After a morning of playing dress up, we headed to the bike rodeo. Finlay rode his bike across the parking lot dressed as superman yelling to a friend.

After going round the cones and learning about road safety the older kids had an opportunity to get out on the trails.
