Pooh sticks

Finlay has now turned 2years old and for me it seemed like a bigger turning point than when Heather turned 2. Perhaps because at that time I still had a baby. But now my baby is two .
Finlay looks broad and sturdy, and weighs a whopping 22lbs !!
Potty training was introduced and going well for a month, but now it seems to have come to a stop. Finlay is not bothered about playing around in a poopy diaper and even when I smell the smell and ask if he has pooped he will innocently deny it. He often is successful in the mornings, but then his life gets busy!! So different from Heather who got it, and hated wetting her pants.
Potty training seems to be totally up to the individual child and even if they have the skills, they are the ones to decide when to put it in practice. So for now we keep asking, keep checking and he will decide when he wants to make it a part of his life.

He is however developing a charming personality and loves to say 'Hi" to people walking by, blows kisses to everyone when we leave, says "Cheese " when the camera comes out ,enjoys being a joker at dinner dates and enjoys making people laugh. This has all happened in the last few days . When we were visiting with friends, Finlay had all the kids laughing at the table as he was putting his spoon sideways in his mouth. He had all the kids laughing at daycare as he was dancing around.
