The day started early and we were down at centennial park by 08.30 donning our Canadian attire. James was on his way home from a night shift and I was gearing up for an 8 km race pushing the two kids in the double stroller. We had our cell phones and the plan was for me to do the first half of the course with the kids in the stroller and then for James to take the kids in the stroller to meet me at a later part in the race where I could do the last 2 km and finish with the kids.The plan worked a treat and I even managed to get a bronze medal for the category 30-39 yrs women....Wahoo!!!!!!
