So now that May is here and it seems as though we have been in winter since October ,we decided to take some time off and seek out some warmer weather.Some sunshine and some water that you could paddle in and actually float your boat ,instead of it sitting on ice.The weather was warmer in Peachland ,the flowers were in bloom and we all started to relax.Heather was excited to test out the sand and the water.

We also enjoyed small hikes . Heather did her first full hike and was determined to walk all the way,no help from us .The helmet ,FYI ,was to stay on most of that day ,as she became quite attached to it and insisted that it stay on her head!! Not sure how long that phase will last for!!
Ahhh!! This is the life.Canoe trips ,quiet beaches,picnics on the beach and a little sunshine for the soul . Just what was needed for the end of ,what has felt like, a long ,snowy winter.We returned in good spirits ,recharged and ready to prepare for the arrival of the new baby in 8 weeks time
